38,000 m² of new construction for BF Global Warehouse B.V. in Venlo.
BF Global Warehouse B.V., part of the BF Global Group, will take possession of a new building of approximately 38,000 m² at Trade Port Zuid in Venlo. BF Global Warehouse has entered into a long-term agreement with Next Level Development for this new construction. The construction will take place on a redevelopment site of a former metal foundry of 62,000 m² located on Witveldweg in Belfeld (Venlo). This “brownfield” location will be made “future-proof” to achieve the growth ambition of BF Global Warehouse.
The building will be used to facilitate the further growth of warehousing and e-commerce activities within the BF Global Group. In addition to BF Global Warehouse B.V., the BF Global Group consists of BF Global Logistics B.V. and BF Global Freight Plus B.V. The BF Global Group offers its customers a comprehensive logistics concept, including air and sea freight, road transport, warehousing and distribution, and has locations in Raamsdonksveer, Waddinxveen, Venlo and Enschede.
BF Global Warehouse B.V. will start using the new logistics centre in April next year. The design has paid extra attention to increasing employees’ comfort and well-being. The innovative building will contribute significantly to more efficient and sustainable business operations.
Work on the new construction has already begun. The new building is being constructed on behalf of Next Level Development from Eindhoven by Wijnen Bouwgroep from Horst, with a design by the architectural firm Pallazzo. BF Global was advised in this process by real estate adviser Cushman & Wakefield.
