Maut rates are going up.

The announced Maut increase in Germany will definitely go ahead, which unfortunately has consequences for the transport costs per kilometer traveled in Germany. So not only transports to and from German destinations, but also to countries for which we have to drive through Germany, will have to deal with increases. Where possible we will choose alternative routes so that we drive the most cost-efficient route.

Due to this adjustment, we are forced to charge the additional Maut costs separately as of December 1. Below you can see the cost calculation. The new toll rates are significantly higher because a CO2 tax is added. This amounts to € 200 per tonne of CO2, which increases the new toll rate for a 40 tonne Euro 6 truck (which we mainly drive) to € 0.348 per kilometer as of December 1, 2023 (this is now € 0.19 p/km). This is an increase of no less than 83.2%.

Due to this adjustment, we are forced to charge the additional Maut costs separately as of December 1.
