Winter weather throughout Europe.

Extremely heavy rainfall will fall in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria in the coming days. It will result in a very early onset of winter in the Alps and possibly later flooding and landslides in other parts of central Europe. The German city of Dresden is also eyeing all the water with suspicion, which may have to be drained via the Elbe, while the collapsed Carola Bridge blocks the water.

All this will affect road transport throughout Europe, trucks will be delayed by traffic jams and road closures, meaning shipments cannot be delivered on time. This especially applies to shipments to destinations in Central and Eastern Europe, cities such as Vienna, Warsaw, Dresden but also Prague are less easily accessible. If you would like to know what the consequences are for your shipment, please contact our Customer Service department: customerservice@bfglogistics.com, or you can also call: 013 458 2970.
